So my two cents even though this thread is a bit old. I am going through a bit of a snit trying to replace the PF63e for my Acadia. First, the PF63e is, in theory, a adequate filter for the application. GM now lists it in their parts lookup as the replacement factory filter.Standard PF63E filter bypass rating is 145kPa to 195kPa. This is 21 to 28 PSI. This is what GM has already told us about these filters. UPF63R filter bypass rating is 145kPa to 215kPa. This is 21 to 31 PSI. Opening point is same as the standard filter but it has a takes more pressure to fully open it.

I would use the ACDelco PF63E just to know that I am using the recommended filter and there is no question on compatibility.
